Dr. Li comes from Xinjiang, the beautiful north-west region of China, where she finished her Ph.D. study and began her teaching career in 2010.  She is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Management at Xinjiang Agricultural University, and her research interests focus on the sustainable development and utilization of resources and energy, resources and environmental economics and industrial ecology. ”I am very appreciative that the RRI gave me the opportunity to join such an outstanding research group!” Li said. “Xinjiang has abundant energy resources but a fragile ecological environment, so the sustainable development of Xinjiang’s energy industry is a research topic with very important practical significance. I believe that the experience at the RRI will benefit me considerably, including studying regional economic theory and improving my research ability.”
